UN GOAL:
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
GLEAC'S CONTRIBUTION:
Micro-practices on a variety of soft skills accessible to all. ACE Courses that focus on the development of soft skills.

05 GENDER EQUALITY
UN GOAL:
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
GLEAC'S CONTRIBUTION:
GLEAC'S Mentor Community has 50% high-potential women on it. The panel of experts for our mentor events have a minimum of 50% women experts.  

08 DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
UN GOAL:
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
GLEAC'S CONTRIBUTION:
To enable job seekers on the Monster job portal to stand out to employees, GLEAC provided an upskilling opportunity to them in the form of our mini benchmarks. Since the launch of this integration, over 18,000 have taken the benchmark and developed industry-specific skills such as communication and being target-driven.  
09 INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRACTURE
UN GOAL:
Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation.

GLEAC's micro-practices aim at giving a level-playing field to all, irrespective of their education or pedigree. Our team members hail from different parts of the world and work in sync to create something awesome each day.

10 REDUCED INEQUALITIES
UN GOAL:
Reduce inequality within and among countries.  
GLEAC'S CONTRIBUTION:
Members of our Mentor Community belong to all backgrounds. What's more? We have 2/3 women at our Cap Table, thus striving to eliminate gender inequality.  

17 PARTNERSHIP FOR THE GOALS
  UN GOAL:
Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.  
GLEAC'S CONTRIBUTION:
GLEAC is working hard to revitalize the partnerships needed to achieve the UN Global Goals. For this, we have partnered with Dubai Expo 2020, Prada, ONGC, PWC, SHRM amongst others to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into our core business.  
These Global Goals are an ambitious plan of action for people, planet and prosperity.
They are universal, applying to all nations and people seeking to tackle inequality
and leave nobody behind. The ambition is to end extreme poverty and hunger by 2030.

Environmental, Social and Governance

  
ESG is the acronym for Environment, Social and (Corporate Governance), the three broad categories of interest for socially responsible investors.

ENVIRONMENTAL
The market for climate-related technology has been thriving; in the first 6 months of 2021, $14.2 billion was invested into climate tech worldwide - this is 88% of the total investments made in 2020. Climate tech solutions come in many forms, including Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software as a Service (SaaS). GLEAC invests in these technologies and harnesses their capabilities, in the form of enhanced product flow and traceability. As a result, we have been able to increase waste management control and raise accountability.
SOCIAL
Following is a brief rundown of just some of the social issues that GLEAC addresses:
 We pay our employees fair wages, or perhaps even generous compared to comparable jobs or similar positions throughout the industry.
  
 In addition to basic wages or salary, we give our employees the opportunity to shift to UAE for work by providing them with free accommodation. If not to move to UAE full-time, they also have the opportunity to come and stay in our company-provided accommodation for any duration that suits them.
  
 GLEAC also provides employee training and education programs. For example, we provide flexible hours for employees pursuing further education. We also sponsor paid training programs for employees who wants to up-skill. 

GOVERNANCE
Financial and accounting transparency and full and honest financial report reporting are GLEAC's efforts at Corporate Governance.
  
 We also use accurate and transparent accounting methods and our stockholders are allowed to vote on important issues.
  
 GLEAC also avoids conflict of interest in its choice of board members. We don't use political contributions to obtain unduly favourable treatment and, of course, we don't engage in illegal practices.
